We admire the life of Josephine Baker and want to celebrate the brilliant dancer she was, and her continued pursuit to open doors for African American women in the arts. Brown Girls Do Ballet is more than a charity -- it’s a movement re-defining a classically Euro-centric art form to reflect what America is today. The organization provides resources and scholarships to assist underrepresented young girls in their ballet development and training. Donate today and help keep these dancers on their toes.
